Scattered Evil News

Since there seems to be some confusion as to how some aspects of Scattered Evil work, I put together a short video showing off the basic features.

The most important highlights:

• Over a dozen new locations have been added. The download includes a map copy showing the number of dungeons (red) and towns (blue) that can be reached from a travel map node.
• All order bases throughout the province are now accessible and include NPCs that can heal you (Church), repair your armor (Legion) or charge up your mana stores (Arcanum).
• The market hall in Thystes is open now so you don’t have to travel half a province any more to do your shopping.
• The first night club of Chronos is now open in Thystes. Not for minors and not for the faint of heart.

Most of the work done on Beta 5 this far has been fixing hundreds of bugs and visual errors in dungeon maps, below a few screenshots of Deepbough, Gnosis and Thryas Reservoir.

The most important highlights:

• 6 maps of desert fighting await you at the Ruins of Nisisil and the Pyramid of Krylu.
• Shopping now available: Ocadia’s market includes two dozen merchants who will sell you all kinds of goodies. There is even a blacksmith that can repair your armor.
• All three order halls are now accessible from the provincial capital, Thystes. Any one of the order heads can send you to locations not accessible from the travel map. They can also grant you levels if you ask them nicely.
• Become part of a love triangle at the Hytesthani Inn or take offense at the way some of the townspeople talk to you.
