Today, 9th of July, is the Argentinian independence day. Theres a few reasons why I created this topic: -So I can say that Canada got a topic, Rep. Argentina got a topic, and the US didn't <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_surprised.gif" alt=":o" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o --> -To point out something a bit curious.. Today it snowed in all of Buenos Aires. It hadn't snowed since 1918. It wasn't a light thing, even from my balcony I could see what looked like almost a blizzard, and I saw in TV that General Paz ave was.. well.. white. Shame they didn't point out where in General Paz, as that avenue goes around all the city (it's even parallel to itself in two places). Last year, around this time of the year, it hailed. Now it snowed. Last year, in America TV they showed Jorge Rial (the biggest controversy generator in TV)'s car getting smashed by rocks, this year we heard that the chief of goverment went to raise a flag in the middle of the snowing.. wouldn't be so funny if it weren't for the fact that he's bald. So, is global warming taking its toll again?

LOL everybody blames global warming for irregular weather (hell over here there was a huge panic because it didn't snow until January, normally we're knee deep starting November). But the thing is GW isn't about that, rather it's about a gradual change in the overall climate, human-caused or not. The earth goes in complex cycles, and perhaps snow in Argentina every 90 years is one of them. Plus, some regions like Scandinavia and the south pole are slowly getting colder, not warmer, so even though this rapid world-wide climate change is a serious threat, IMO the term "global warming" is kinda misleading. Hmm.. I'm kinda brain dead today for math, the independence year was 1816.. would that make 191 years?

And guess how I finished my 9th of July... yes sir, a blackout. I start in March and end in November. And I have 2 weeks of winter vacations starting July 20th.

I'm still on school too, it ends beginning August <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->, then on September my classes begin again.

O yes, and we begin in September. Seems like everybody's school starts in the fall and ends in either early summer or late spring. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Yeah.. my classes start about 2 weeks before fall.

Yeah. It's not like it just snowed in the middle of the summer. And btw, when I said I was brain dead for math... well, the test went well, but the professor said all the equations in the test had a solution, which just sucks because one of them ended up in "4=76".
