Hey I think I stumbled upon the most unintelligent discussions ever between Heretic/Hexen fans...

Yeah, n00bs are funny sometimes, but facts need to get straight on them as if the whole Heretic/Hexen series is new to them :O
Thu, 13 May 2004 15:33:56
The sheer moronity of their talk and the bottomless depth of their dumbness is simply amazing... They really manage to remain consistently wrong on anything they talk about, no matter what it is...

But sadly that kind of people really exists .

Well, it's fun to read, and it's about the only activity in those forums right now. Besides, the story is rather convoluted anyway, so at least they have some kind of excuse.
Thu, 13 May 2004 16:14:52
Yeah, lost people are funny sometimes
No wait a minute, I just repeated myself...
Thu, 13 May 2004 16:22:39
Ugh, believe it or not, I've seen MUCH worse in other forums. But that stuff is bad too.
Besides, the "Favourite Serpent Rider" doesn't seem like an unintelligent thread, but hey look at what they turned it into.

Heh modDB has plenty of lost people. =D

ROFLS, they think the guy in the cloak on the Hexen cover is korax. Good laughs.
Thu, 20 May 2004 15:09:12
I know. I answered it in the second post, and now I'm just watching all the fun. Besides, this is the most activity that and the Heretic forums have had since...maybe never.
Thu, 20 May 2004 15:34:25
Hehe yeah, it's funny when they think they prove themselves right when it's obviously wrong
It's like claiming an apple tastes like cherries
Thu, 20 May 2004 15:44:54
It gives them something to do, I suppose, since neither of them seem to have the full version of either game, which makes it even more amusing, heheh.

My favourite of those newbies is D'Sparil because he actually thinks he's the real D'Sparil.

CheapAlert, I liked that picture at the end of the thread, but I think you missed a spot.
Anyway, I hope D'Sparil's little crusade is over. It was going nowhere...

I missed a spot? How?
If you mean that tear under the gargoyle's eye, that's been in Heretic since forever. It goes unnoticed all the time.
Because of them, i've taken my
frustration onto a MIDI.

No, I meant you released the shift key a bit early when making those exclamation marks.

O...K...then......
That MIDI file was a bit weird, but catchy in a strange way.

Er, you`re shitting me?
I always thought it was Korax.....
Since 1996... aw christ :S

Well, I guess Hersiarch or Dark Bishop makes more sense, but I always thought it was Korax all hunched over with the Chaos Sphere.
I`ll need an official answer from Raven Games :p

Well as far as I care it's either a Dark Bishop or the Mage (player character).

Yes, a heresiarch would make sense too, but OTOH he's quite buff and the cloaked figure may be a bit too nimble to be one.

Brom did the cover of Hexen (he also did Heretic and Doom2, as well as several other games like that gargoyle on Warlords III: Darklords rising), so I think contacting him would have the answer for us but he's hard to get a hold of these days.
I say it's a Dark Bishop since he's the only one casting green and have a cloak of that shape. The lighting setting just tints him orange/brownish.
