While reading the news archives on the main page, I noticed this one from April 2003:

Each of the three Orders has its own religion and its own holy language, used for spells.

In case anybody is interested, here's something that I'll be using for a future Hexen project. I doubt it will fit into SE, but I hope it's at least somewhat useful. Hey now I suddenly recall something dimly, I think a long time ago there was a guy in RavenForums who was very excited about linguitics, or maybe it was even two guys, weren't you the one (or one of the two)? And I don't see why it wouldn't have any place in SE, maybe not as Gargoylian but under the name of some other folk's tongue at any rate!

Well I do think linguistics would be a really cool course to study in University, and a beneficial one: it can definitely give you a higher chance of success in the real world. And it runs in the blood (my great uncle was octolingual! <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt=":shock:" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: --> ) I don't remember very many linguistics threads in RavenForums. OTOH there were a few posted here on Korax' Heritage forums. I'm glad you like the idea, then. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) --> This "language" has actually had a few name changes, so one more won't hurt. <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

Maybe the threads were here and not on RavenForums, don't remember any more. I also like the idea, it sounds interesting and it may make the Hexen world have a bit more of culture sides.
