I suggest removing all such topics from the boards and making a sticky policy topic stating such threads are not allowed and will be deleted. These threads have nothing to do with the Korax project or with Hexen and thus they have no place here IMO.

I wouldn't like to do so, it's almost the only discussions that go on here lately, if we remove them, the forums will be plain dead <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt=":?" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? --> , we should begin to think what we can do to make things start moving again IMO. I don't know, maybe we could add something about heretic here too?

I totally agree that political and religious stuff should be cast out of the forums. Politics and religions are the direct causes of most problems we got these days. I don't even try to discuss such matters, being an agnostic and a dictator! Seriously, all other topics should stay in an off-topic forum. OTOH I don't see why those things bother you, RambOrc, I just don't read them... who cares anyway?

Well the thing is I have to "work" here, I can't just not come here any more. The same goes for all active team members, whereas for the fans this isn't true.

FB: The forums are dead because we haven't really released anything in years - filling up the forums with unrelated stuff won't change this fact. <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) --> It also doesn't really make sense to try to keep a lively community here for nothing IMO, and once we release stuff people will come anyway. We haven't done a KMOD release in like 3 years and there are still a few newcomers now and then. As for Heretic (and even Hexen), I made a poll some time ago about whether to pull all forums together on the new heretichexen.com or have them all stay at their current places (vavoom-engine.com, korax-heritage.com) and the vote was for having them all separate. Which means once heretichexen.com goes live, it can have its own Heretic and Hexen forums. Until then, there are official Heretic and Hexen forums back at RavenGames.com.

gosh when I said"who cares anyway", I was talking about political and religious stuff NOT the forums!!!! if those issues trouble you in any way then feel free to irradicate them, if not let them be, it doesn't matter!
