LOL Mago, could you just save the logo on that sample page (the chronicles one) and create a log for us with the same size (feel free to make anything that fits the rest of the theme, be it a version of that scroll or something entirely else - don't forget to think of the background thingie, or use a one-colored background for a transparent GIF file, a color that isn't used anywhere in the actual image itself).

I'm not yet sure about SE title artwork, I suggest we take up this question again when SE is in an advanced state. I was thinking about a picture with the Uber-Heresiarch (working title) in the underground temple (for which I intend to create a feeling that's similar to what the final temple in ShadowCaster was, a cavern with many round stone columns), but even if that would be the one in the end, the temple map has to be in at least a half-finished state before such a pic can be drawn. And there's a good chance the title pic will be something entirely else.

Nope. You mentioned the last area of map E5M8 of Shadowcaster. He got that idea from the last map of ichor.wad(he told me so, heheh).

Wait a minute... You must be talking about the game Shadowcaster, while I was talking about that recent Heretic wad, also called Shadowcaster. In the last map, there's a big open area with no floor, a bunch of huge pillars, and not much friction (unfortunately). I guess we just got the games mixed up. Silly me...

Wow, I never heard about that wad, where could I get it? I was talking about the game ShadowCaster, released in 1992 by EA.

You can get it here. There are some very annoying areas though. Most of the wind map is particularly frustrating.
