There seems to be a prob with automated e-mails, i.e. they aren't sent out from the SMTP server on SF, at least that's what a user reported when he tried to change his e-mail addy and never got the e-mail and so his account became disabled (had to manually enable it from the admin panel). If it's not just with his mail addy but really because of the SMTP, no user can sign up to the boards. If SF doesn't offer an outgoing SMTP server, we'll either have to switch to another authentification method, e.g. admin enable, or use an account on an external mailserver.

phpBB always had this problem. Remember when I changed my e-mail on ravengames.com forum and you had to manually activate my account? OTOH registration of users seams to be broken, but it's a database problem. I'll try to fix it now.

I fixed the database problem, but when I tried to register I didn't receive registration e-mail. I'll change authentification method to visual confirmation.

Well good luck with that and I advise you to backup the DB before you do that, last time I tried adding the visual confirmation thingie the whole boards screwed up and I had to restore everything from backup. That was some time ago though when the visual confirmation was a manual hack and not a built-in-module yet.

Had to manually type in confirmation code in Chronicles template. But after that it works fine.
