I haven't used that Doom connector o_0. I was thinking more along the lines of Doomsday's interface for joining by IP in Hexen. I played it with someone the other day and it was fun! <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Oh that's right, I haven't played Doomsday since my k6 died last year. Better refit meself. My computer's cool tonight so playing's definitely a possiblity.

Oh noes, sudden jerk performance problems, 72fps smooth until one of us fires and it's down to 1fps for me :U And I thought Vavoom was bad!

Hmm... Well that Doom multiplayer sucked so much....I had thoughts of it being just a rocket arena..and that's what the games were..so god damn boring..... Man I prefer Hexen :p

Not always, just find some good servers with some well wads like classix and tlsd2004. (I do know what you mean by rocket arenas, dwango5 is a must avoid for you then) Hexen's default levels often suck as 1-on-1's and deathmatches because they're just so big and linear... I'd even make a level or two because of that
