Mago, now that you have some time on your hands I think it's a good idea to discuss a bit on how to make the gargoyle class sprites, I have been doing a lot of research on how to draw the hands (as you all know I'm not a good drawer), and I found some photographs of hands in different positions and stuff, but I think our best chance to do a good looking sprite is to make it using the technique that you used to make the NPC's for SE, I mean to hand draw a sketch of the hands without the crystals, just the basic position of them and the crystal and details can be added when coloring them, that's why I need to ask you this task Mago, could you make a sketch for the gargoyle hands? nothing to complex, just the basic positions for it, the rest I can do it myself, I have found I'm better working on something as a base than doing sprites from scratch (which is a difficult process), I don't want to charge your hands with work man, so if you think you don't have enogh time to make this, please post it here and I'll find another way to do it, OK? Yes, I've also found that drawing HUD graphics from scratch is a hard job, specially to get the proportions right, and then the coloring, because Hexen's sprites tend to have a subtle shadowing and that confuses me a lot of times... There's no problem at all Firabrand. I'll work on those attacks - I've already borrowed a digital camera from a friend, and I'm in the process of taking pics of several different "attacks" using my own hand; I believe it will be a useful base for future HUD animations. I think that's a good idea Mago, but it would be useful to have a sketch too, to use the technique that you used for the SE NPC's, I think it will be useful too.
